ROUGH DIAMOND
A rough diamond is a diamond rock which has not
been processed. They are available in a variety of naturally shapes including
octahedrons, cubic and triangular. A rough diamond can also be a type of
diamond which is not fully developed or can have less brilliance which should
not it had. This mainly happens when diamond is mined out not in the relevant
time or before the time it was needed to fully developed.

There are two types of rough diamonds, gem quality and industrial.
Technically, there’s a third, but they are really just the poorest quality
industrial diamonds which end up as dust in polishing applications.
Rough diamonds usually resemble piece of light colours glass. They often
have an oily image and don’t sparkle. Very few rough diamonds are actually gem
quality. Only those with the very light colours, or are colourless will pass
the test.
how to
identify a rough diamond

Rough diamonds are becoming increasingly popular for use in jewellery.
The problem is that it is not always easy to separate a rough diamond from
things like quartz or maybe colours glass without knowing what to seem. rough
diamond can be scratched by anything aside from another diamond, then it is
fake.
The other mineral most frequently thought to be diamond is quartz. The
only mineral you can really use to check the hardness of a diamond may be a
piece of corundum. Corundum is that the mineral which makes up ruby and
sapphire, and only diamond is harder. If the rough diamond on offer can scratch
the corundum, then it’s surely a diamond.
